We supply garden furniture all over the South West of the UK and beyond. We are actually based on the south west that's where our main warehouses and where we distribute all of our furniture all of the UK. So the south west is entrenched in our business. By shopping with us and buying your garden furniture in the south west you are shopping locally.
We are proud to be based in the south-west, is one of the best regions in the UK we know this for a fact. Full of amazing scenery, some amazing malls gorgeous rolling hills, endless countryside and some of the best coastlines anywhere in the UK in particular in Cornwall. So when choosing a base with a bit of a no-brainer that the south-west is where we should be operating from.
As we are based in the south-west and we know it really well we saw that there was a huge lack of physical businesses where you can go and purchase good quality garden furniture. It's just so hard to do and when we were looking for ourselves to kit out our garden without it was in was impossible to be able to find anything really fitted the bill and was actually good quality as well. So enter Ottena. We wanted to redress the balance when shopping for garden furniture in the South West, and make the whole process is simple quick and effective as possible.

Before you choose
Choosing garden furniture across the South West
Start with position and exposure
A sheltered town courtyard and an open garden need different planning. Choose stable ground, consider the shelter at the actual spot and plan dry storage for cushions. Follow the instructions for parasols when conditions change.
Compare complete dining arrangements
Count your everyday seats and measure the table with chairs pulled back. Include doors and routes through the garden. For an extending table, check its full size before assuming there is room for extra guests.
Check access at your delivery address
Send your postcode and describe a narrow approach, steps or restricted unloading. Ask about the service for the selected furniture. This regional guide covers the South West; our city and county guides provide a narrower starting point.
For care and finish advice, read our teak furniture care guide. For the full product ranges, use our patio sets, garden benches and garden chairs collections.

Sustainably sourced teak garden furniture
Our teak garden furniture is manufactured in Indonesia, using sustainably sourced Teak and supported by replanting schemes. Using timber that will last means you won't have to buy 'fast' furniture and replace it every year.
Solid teak and traditional joinery
All of Cornwall garden furniture is made using sustainably sourced eco-teak. What we mean by this that all of the timber will used in our teak garden benches, teak patio sets and our famous Teak Adirondacks is sourced from sustainable plantation teak and is closely monitored under the SVLK certification scheme ensuring no foul play.
Our teak furniture is mainly constructed from timber and where possible we try not to use any metals or plastics. Sometimes this is unavoidable however that we try to keep it to a minimum using traditional joinery methods.
Timber sourcing and our environmental commitments
We want to make an eco-promise to you, so that you can shop guilt free in this modern world. All of the furniture that we make comes from eco-sourced timber. We also plant a tree for every order that you place with us meaning you are helping future generations.
We are trying in our business to reduce the amount of plastics that we use and find more sustainable ways of manufacturing and delivering our garden furniture in Cornwall.
To further lessen the impact on the environment, we plant a tree for every order you place with us so that by shopping with us you are helping the environment.
In the event that some of our teak outside furniture becomes damaged in transit, either on its way to us or to our customers, we will bring it back to our warehouse and recycle it. Our team are now experienced in making appropriate repairs to teak folding tables, teak dining chairs, teak garden benches and our garden parasols. These are often restored to perfect working order so they will have a long working life.
Our recycled teak garden furniture and recycled garden parasols are available to purchase at a discount under our clearance section. This process significantly reduces waste.
We are very aware of the importance of sustainability and the climate crisis so we are always happy to field any questions or concerns you might have regarding the sustainability of our teak garden furniture. For more details regarding the SVLK and FLEGT accreditations, please see the links below:
